Welcoming Baby Bodie: A Cozy In-Home Newborn Session

I recently had the absolute joy of photographing my friend’s sweet new baby boy, Bodie, in the comfort of their home. The warmth and love in their space made the session unforgettable. Bodie was the star, of course, but their cat Jennifer and dog Nellie had other plans — they absolutely wanted in on the action, adding their own charm and humour to the shoot.

I love sessions like this because they reflect real life. Families can be themselves, snuggling on the couch, embracing the chaos, and celebrating the beauty of these fleeting moments. Watching this family soak in the magic of their newest addition was a reminder of why I love what I do.
